After graduating from Korea University's Department of Architectural Engineering and graduate school, he went to France to study and received a doctorate in engineering and a doctorate in science from the University of Perpignan. While studying abroad, he won an excellent paper award hosted by the French Ministry of Education, and returned to Korea as an overseas scientist to conduct research at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), the Korea Institute of Energy Technology, etc. He is actively working across theory and practice, including the 'inverted pyramid method', which allows buildings to be raised more than 50 floors without a foundation, and has applied for more than 10 patents in over 20 countries. 

As of 2015, he serves as the president of the Korea Science Writers Association, and has published books such as 『Geniuses who beat genius』, 『Science Samguk Yusa』, 『Science Samguk Sagi』, 『Excavations that shook world history』, 『The World Created by the Nobel Prize』, and 『The Best Korean Culture in the World』 He wrote books such as ‘Legacy’, ‘Secret of the Golden Sword’, ‘Mystery and Truth’ (3 volumes), ‘Scientific Cultural Heritage Exploration through History 1-3’, etc.
