The Reading Cards are a learning material for children studying Hanja (Chinese characters) developed using Glen Doman's flashcard method. They are made of high-quality art paper with double-sided security matte lamination to prevent creasing. Glen Dohman's flash card learning theory refers to the fact that when an object is shown to a baby momentarily, the baby absorbs it into their mind at lightning speed using their intuitive and intuitive abilities, much like taking a photograph. The Hanja reading cards are a teaching material designed to enhance the effectiveness of learning by instantly showing a picture on the front of the card to children aged 0 to 5, flipping the card over to read the Hanja on the back in a vivid voice from their mother (or father), thereby integrating visual and auditory image memory with language memory to form a single memory image, and also by showing the character after the object has been recognized. This textbook is structured into four stages: Stage 1: Basic Chinese characters (240 characters), Stage 2: Basic Chinese vocabulary (120 words), Stage 3: Sentences (12), and Stage 4: Book. Chinese characters are abstract characters that have both meaning and pronunciation. Therefore, this program is structured to help children understand the meaning and pronunciation of 240 basic single-character Chinese characters, and then to naturally learn them through words (Chinese loanwords) and sentences, eventually enabling them to read books written in Chinese characters.
