{"product_id":"까만크레파스","title":"The Black Crayon","description":"Description\n\nA set of brand-new crayons has never had the chance to draw a single picture. Bored and restless, Yellow can't stand it anymore and dashes out, running across the desktop until it spots a big, white sheet of paper. Overjoyed, Yellow draws a yellow butterfly. But the butterfly needs flowers, so Yellow brings along Red and Pink. Pink draws a flower but realizes it needs leaves, so it calls over Green and Light Green. One by one, the other crayons join in, drawing and coloring the ground, trees, sky, and clouds together.\n\nThen Black comes over and asks what it should draw, but the other crayons won't let it join in, saying they can't ruin their pretty picture with black. While Black sits sadly, comforted by Mechanical Pencil, the other crayons get so caught up in coloring only with their own colors that the picture turns into a complete mess. That's when Mechanical Pencil whispers something to Black. Hearing this, Black colors over the entire messy picture in black. Then Mechanical Pencil scratches away at the black coating, revealing a beautiful fireworks picture underneath. Realizing that this wonderful picture was made possible thanks to Black, the crayon friends apologize and make up with Black.\n\nA delightful imagination that begins in a child's crayon box\n\nTake a look at the cover art: crayons are dashing out of their box, all with expressions full of curiosity and anticipation. The crayon named Black—who also gives the book its title—is pushing up hard on the lid of the box, helping its friends escape. The crayons burst out of the box. What are they about to do? And so the story begins: \"There once were some shiny new crayons.\"\n\nThe greatest strength of The Black Crayon is that its subject matter and themes are drawn straight from children's everyday lives, offering both enjoyment and deep resonance. Once children are able to move their hands freely, they love holding something and drawing with it. For children who love to draw, crayons and paper are among the most familiar and beloved objects. A story starring things children see every day naturally draws them in from the very start.\n\nAnd our true main character here is the Black Crayon. Any child who has opened a crayon box will quickly realize that the tallest crayon in the box is, more often than not, the black one—simply because black doesn't get used much beyond coloring hair or drawing outlines. So is coloring the lid open the only job poor Black is good for?\n\nStarting from such a comfortable, familiar subject, the story's imagination unfolds into a theme closely tied to children's own lives, leading to a wonderfully satisfying ending that draws out delighted recognition.\n\nOh, Black became the sky!\n\nBored because they've never had the chance to draw, the crayons happily draw a butterfly and flowers, trees and sky for the very first time. But they won't let Black join in, saying its color isn't pretty enough—that there's no place for an unattractive black in such a lovely picture. Yet because each crayon becomes so obsessed with using only its own color, the picture ends up ruined—until, thanks to Black, it's transformed into a stunning firework display.\n\nBlack, who thought it could draw nothing—or rather, believed it shouldn't draw at all—became a magnificent night sky in its own color. Black can be the color of the sky, too. And so Black became a precious background for its friends.\n\nChildren grow, little by little, by moving beyond a self-centered view of the world and gradually learning to consider and understand others. It's important to pass on to them the healthy values that no one is ever unworthy of being cherished, and that we should accept and understand others without prejudice. Even someone different from us, or who may seem to fall a little short, has their own special talents, and can become someone essential to others. Recognizing and accepting one another exactly as we are—that is how a beautiful, harmonious picture comes together.\n\nIn that sense, this story delivers a meaningful message without being heavy-handed, as delightful as fireworks in the night sky.","brand":"IBOOKPARK","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":49623662067940,"sku":"1301509770","price":18.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0831\/9788\/6692\/files\/1301509770_l1.jpg?v=1786421152","url":"https:\/\/ibookpark.com\/en\/products\/%ea%b9%8c%eb%a7%8c%ed%81%ac%eb%a0%88%ed%8c%8c%ec%8a%a4","provider":"IBOOKPARK","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
