This process helped maximize the strengths of the original textbook while addressing its shortcomings.\n\nIn particular, in line with recent attention to gender impact assessment in Korean language textbooks, the revision removed gender role stereotypes and biases and aimed to eliminate imbalances in gender representation. Illustrations and photos with unclear meaning, as well as overly complex instructions, were clarified and simplified to improve teaching and learning efficiency.
