In 2017, foundational research and needs assessments were conducted, and in 2018, field testing and feedback collection took place. The development team included experts in Korean language education, early childhood education, and overseas Korean education.\n\nAs a result, a set of materials titled \"Fun Korean for Young Children Around the World\" was published, consisting of 6 activity workbooks for children, 2 teacher's guides, 1 Hangeul play book, and 1 big picture book. These educational materials are designed to be easy and convenient for overseas Korean children, teachers, and parents alike to use. Children can enjoyably learn Korean through a wide range of learning content, teachers can flexibly use various activity sheets according to their educational goals, and parents can naturally continue at home the Korean language their children learned at school through connected home activities.\n\nIn particular, these materials were developed to enhance children's bilingual abilities and foster a healthy sense of linguistic and cultural identity. To this end, they are rich in content about the Korean language and culture, and great effort was made to showcase a diverse range of language and cultural expressions.\n\nWe hope that through \"Fun Korean for Young Children Around the World,\" many overseas Korean children will enjoy learning Korean with excitement and joy.
