The narrator of this book, inspired by Goethe's 'Faust', is the devil 'Mephisto'. The devil, who does not belong in heaven or the underworld and cannot be saved, heads to the earth for the last time. And he does so in the form of a stray dog. The first person this devil encounters is a deaf, lonely girl. A girl who has never had a wish granted and is unlucky. Without a word, these two naturally open their hearts to each other.
The story of two, the story of the dog, the story of the girl, and the story of the dog again. This book is a long story of 120 pages in total, divided into four short parts, in which the stories are exchanged. It is a free-form story between a picture book and a graphic novel, and it goes back and forth between the past and the present with tension. The pictures lead the main events, and the words touch the reader's heart at the right moment.

The girl, who has been alienated from her family and society due to poverty and disability, has no friends and no one to rely on since she was young. Ironically, the stray dog ​​'Mephisto', who is a demon, appears like a ray of light in her harsh and desolate life. The girl and the demon endure life sharing love and joy in their own world. Their bad deeds and timid pranks on the world become beautiful memories for them. As if trying to remember them, the girl takes pictures of them one by one and sticks them on the wall. However, as time passes, the demon, who cannot age or die, remains the same, and is by the girl's side as she ages and loses her memories. The demon struggles with pain that goes beyond the harsh life they lived together. In the end, the demon decides to use a forbidden magic to restore the girl's memories, who is forgetting even herself, with all his might. In the process, he reads the heart of the girl who loved him as a demon. Instead, the demon is reborn as a human because of the girl's bet with God. And the two hold hands again. Because he did not give in to their difficult and difficult life. It ends with a smile, saying that comfort, empathy, and love for one another have overcome all of this. This book is a sincere story based on the author's autobiographical experience, so it resonates even more deeply. It is a book that can be read with empathy by all generations, children and adults, while thinking about the true meaning of family, friends, and relationships around me.
