Description

"Children's Hunminjeongeum" was first published in 2002 to enhance elementary school students' vocabulary, and has since received positive reviews from teachers and parents. Because it was compiled with textbook vocabulary in mind, it has been revised with each new textbook release. The fourth revised edition reflects the new textbook content, which will be implemented starting in 4.
Language is an essential tool not only for communication but also for expressing one's thoughts. The basic unit of this language is vocabulary. Therefore, quantitative and qualitative improvement of vocabulary is a very important factor in improving children's learning ability. This is because all subject learning, as well as tests asking for the results of that learning, is conducted through language. Therefore, vocabulary is not simply a part of Korean language study, but is a basic and essential item for all learning.
In this textbook, essential vocabulary is selected for each grade, and the problem format is structured in a variety of ways to make learning easy and fun for children. We hope that through this textbook, children will become interested in learning vocabulary, gain confidence, and become a guide to not only learning subjects but also living a proper Korean language life.
The ‘4rd revised edition of Hunminjeongeum for children’ has the following features.
1. It follows the new curriculum used from 2024.
2. This is a vocabulary learning textbook tailored to the progress of each grade. The basic composition order follows the Korean language subject table of contents, but it also includes many key vocabulary words from other subjects that are essential for each grade.
3. Not only the essential vocabulary in the textbook, but also important vocabulary outside the textbook is included to make it more informative.
