This book, “I Want a Blue Puppy,” is a children’s book decorated with pretty pictures and beautiful writing, inspired by the story of Neil, a boy who is a friend of the author. We decorated a blue shoe box as a house for the paper doll 'Dalmatian', watched Neil cut a hole in the box lid so the paper doll dog could breathe, and wrote a fairy tale for the boy.
