It is a time when we can feel the momentum of new life that has begun to sprout, gently embracing the winter that was more intense than ever. That small life will soon grow 'green' and delight us. Starting in 2025, 〈Elle Deco〉 pays tribute to the green influence of nature. It is themed as 'The Greenists', referring to those who are not faithful 'Earth Keepers' but strive to protect life and the environment. The Greenists of this era surprise us with new ways of thinking about the environment. From Yulia Roman, who finds the future of design in seaweed, to Andres Jacques, who questions the meaning of sustainable architecture, to Choi Jae-eun, who presents art that breathes with nature, to Fernando Laposse, who practices design that connects Mexican tradition and ecology. The ideas they have presented show that protecting the environment is not a simple responsibility, but a power that can creatively change the world.

This creative subversion continues in the March cover story. 'Niceaunties' has created an 'Auntieverse' that no one could have imagined using AI technology. There, older women do strange and fascinating things. They take an elegant vacation in a garbage dump, take a bath in ramen soup, and even hold a sushi class on the moon. The humorous visuals are definitely the best, but they cannot explain Niceaunties' work alone. They have also dealt with countless environmental issues such as marine debris, deforestation, climate change, and overconsumption. In particular, the 'Auntlantis' series, which was the reason for decorating this issue's cover, is a series that combines the myth of Atlantis and the story of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. As we follow the stories of these people who are making the world a little greener and a little more colorful, won't we also think of small practices that can call ourselves 'Greenists'? In addition, please look forward to the free inspiration filled with interviews with founders of recently notable lifestyle brands, stories of collectors collecting artifacts, and colorful housewarmings filled with tastes.
