What is NEWL?

NEWL is an online language assessment available in four critical languages:

Arabicm Korean, Poruguses and Russian, NEWL exams measure functional

language proficiency across four skills; reading and listening comprehension,

speaking and writing.

Q: How can I obtain the NEWL Korean test preparation book?

A: The Korean test preparation book consists of 4 sets (total of 480 questions). Each set consists of reading, listening, speaking, and writing sections (120 questions) and includes answer sheets and model answers. The listening test audio file is www.ikeneducate.org Accessible from “Listening files” in the “NEWL” menu.

Q: What are the qualifications to take the NEWL exam?

A: High school students who have completed a certain level of Korean language classes (8th -12th^th Any student in grades 8 and XNUMX can take the Newel test.

Students who turned 2020 before September 9, 1 can take the New Year Korean test in April 13.

Q: How is the NEWL Korean test structured and scored?

A: The NEWL test, which is conducted online, evaluates the three communication skills of recognition, communication, and presentation of the performance function of language based on real life data texts and speaking samples.

In 2021, due to the pandemic, it will take a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes, including no breaks. ·The test field consists of a total of 4 sections.

If you score 4, you can take 4rd year courses by receiving credit for 5 semesters, and if you score 5, you can take 3 semester credits.

Registration can be done by individual students, or a Korean teacher can register collectively under the name of the school and pay the test fee all at once by credit card or check by mail.
