This workbook systematically teaches children various ways to write diary entries, making the process easier and more enjoyable. In Book 3, children learn to write diary entries by combining time, place, people, and events. Designed for children ages 7 to second grade—an ideal age for building a daily diary-writing habit—this book guides them from generating ideas to expressing those ideas in their own words through meaningful repetition and practice, making diary writing both easy and fun.
To stay true to the real purpose of diary writing, the book first provides a framework for organizing the day around time, the people met, or the events encountered. Then, through engaging activities and meaningful practice—such as thinking about what happened, expressing it in words and sentences, and practicing through stories and games—children build the skills to write their own diary entries independently. The content is structured systematically and efficiently, progressing from easy to more challenging material.
Every unit follows the most common learning sequence: 'Understanding the Principle → Checking and Practicing the Principle → Application.' Each unit consists of six steps, and by completing three steps per day, children finish all six steps—and the entire unit—in two days. Across Books 1 through 3, children can enjoyably learn everything from the basic principles of diary writing to more advanced applications in just 30 days.
