But one day, he took the ttakji his grandfather had folded for him out to the empty lot, where he ended up playing against Jun-i, the neighborhood leader. Together with other kids in the village, they went splashing in the stream — kicking up water, holding their breath underwater, having water fights, and playing at catching fish... Before he knew it, Han-ul found that running and playing outside with friends was far more fun than any video game. When he returned home, he found himself looking forward to winter vacation, eager to go out and play again.
