Answer Key
Appendix Composition and Features
(1) The standard study period for one workbook is one month. In Week 1, where children learn the basic principles of operations, each day covers 6 pages. In Weeks 2 through 4, where children build thinking skills based on these basic principles, each day covers 4 pages.
(2) To help children move smoothly into Weeks 2, 3, and 4, an “Operations Skill Check” section is included at the end of Week 1, allowing children to confirm and reinforce their understanding of the basic concepts.
(3) The difficulty level is designed to gradually increase — from Week 1 to Week 4 within each book, from Day 1 to Day 5 within each week, and from page 1 to page 4 within each day.
(4) To support children's self-directed learning, the book includes activity stickers, activity sheets, intuitive examples, and a variety of helpful hints.
(5) Appendix 1: Math Board Game
Each workbook includes one math board game so that parents and children can enjoy playing together while reinforcing the basic addition principles learned in Week 1. Rather than relying on repetitive drills, this fun board game helps improve both accuracy and speed in calculation.
(6) Appendix 2: Praise Stickers
Recognizing that children can easily lose motivation, a space for a “Praise Sticker” is provided in the bottom right corner of the last page of each day's lesson. Instead of a single generic phrase, the stickers come in three levels based on achievement: “Great Job!”, “Well Done!”, and “Keep Trying! You Can Do It!”
(7) Appendix 3: Operations Champion Certificate
At the end of each workbook, a certificate is included to motivate children to continue on to the next book. With praise and enthusiastic encouragement alongside this certificate, children can build lasting confidence in math.
