Customized Sex Education for Your Child, by Age and Gender As sex crimes have recently become a major social issue, the need for timely sex education has become even more urgent. Especially given the cultural and social forces that seek to destabilize sexual identity, biblical sex education is now more essential than ever. The problem is that even though many parents and teachers recognize this need, they often still feel uncomfortable or embarrassed at the mere mention of "sex education," leaving them unsure where or how to begin teaching their children. Meanwhile, there's the constant worry that children might absorb incorrect information about sex through social media or the internet before receiving proper guidance. The 'Our Children's Biblical Sex Education Series' was created out of these very concerns. Recognizing the pressing need to build a healthy sexual culture in our times, the Christian Institute for Sexual Ethics—launched with the support of Bundang Woori Church (Pastor Lee Chan-soo)—joined forces with Gyujang Publishing to help parents provide age-appropriate, biblically grounded sex education to their beloved children from an early age. This series is divided into five stages by age, starting from early childhood, when children first become curious about the differences between boys and girls, up through the teenage years, when specific and accurate knowledge about sex needs to be firmly established. Each stage is further divided by gender, allowing parents to choose the book that best fits their child. While this book cannot cover every aspect of sexuality, it offers clear, biblically grounded guidance and creates an opportunity for parents or teachers to have honest, natural conversations with their children. About the 'Our Children's Biblical Sex Education Series' The Christian Institute for Sexual Ethics, established with the support of Bundang Woori Church (Senior Pastor Lee Chan-soo), was founded on Reformed theological convictions with the mission of building a biblical sexual ethic in the next generation. In a culture that distorts biblical values and promotes sexual deviation from God's created order, the Institute upholds the Bible as the sole standard of truth, helping people view life's issues through a biblical lens. It also seeks to present a healthy vision of family life to help raise the next generation in happiness and wholeness. In keeping with its founding purpose of teaching the gospel and God's Word, the Institute discovered and provided editorial oversight for the 'Learning About Sex Series,' published by the well-known American Christian publisher Concordia Publishing House, and introduced it to Korean readers under the title 'Our Children's Biblical Sex Education Series.' Watching children grow up faster than parents ever expect, many Christian parents and teachers struggle deeply with the question of when and how to provide sex education. This series was created with those very concerns in mind. Divided into five stages from early childhood through adolescence, it shares age-appropriate truths rooted in God's design and purpose in creation. A defining feature of this series is that it is tailored by both age and gender, offering separate books for boys and girls so that each child receives sex education suited specifically to them. It is our hope that this series will have a positive influence on establishing a healthy sexual culture within the Korean church.
