Customized sex education for your child, organized by age and gender As sex-related crimes increasingly become a pressing social issue, the need for timely, appropriate sex education has never been more emphasized. In an era when social and cultural trends work to unsettle children's sense of sexual identity, biblical sex education has become absolutely essential. The challenge is that even though many parents and teachers recognize this need, the topic of "sex education" still feels uncomfortable and awkward to discuss, leaving them unsure where or how to begin. Meanwhile, there is real concern that children may end up learning distorted ideas about sexuality from social media or the internet before they ever receive proper guidance. The "Our Children's Biblical Sex Education Series" was created out of this very concern. Recognizing the pressing responsibility to promote a healthy sexual culture, the Christian Institute for Sexual Ethics — established with the support of Bundang Woori Church (Pastor Lee Chan-soo) — partnered with Kyujang Publishing to help parents provide age-appropriate, biblically grounded sex education for their beloved children from an early age. This series is divided into five stages by age, beginning in early childhood when children first notice differences between boys and girls, and continuing through the teenage years when clear, accurate knowledge about sexuality becomes essential. Each stage is further divided by gender, allowing parents to choose the book best suited to their child. While this book cannot cover every aspect of sexuality, it offers clear, biblically grounded guidance and creates a natural opportunity for honest conversation between parents (or teachers) and children. About the "Our Children's Biblical Sex Education Series" The Christian Institute for Sexual Ethics, established with the support of Bundang Woori Church (Senior Pastor Lee Chan-soo), was founded on Reformed faith principles with the mission of establishing a biblical sexual ethic for the next generation. In a culture that distorts biblical values and departs from God's created order, the Institute upholds Scripture as the sole standard of truth, helping people view life's issues through a biblical lens. It also seeks to promote healthy family models to help raise the next generation in happiness and health. In keeping with its founding mission, the Institute discovered and reviewed the "Learning about Sex Series," originally published by Concordia Publishing House — a respected Christian publisher in the United States devoted to teaching the gospel and God's Word — and introduced it in Korea under the title "Our Children's Biblical Sex Education Series." Watching children grow up faster than parents ever expected, many Christian parents and teachers wrestle with the question of "when and how" to provide sex education. The "Our Children's Biblical Sex Education Series" was created to address exactly this concern. Divided into five stages from early childhood through the teenage years, the series presents age-appropriate facts that children are curious about and need to know, all grounded in God's design and providence in creation. A defining feature of this series is that it is organized both by age and by gender, with separate books for boys and girls, enabling truly personalized sex education. We hope this series will have a positive impact on establishing a healthy culture of sexuality within the Korean church.
