Recent works: Let's Go, Goguryeo!, Teresa: A Practitioner of True Love Beyond Religion, 15 Classic Stories You Can Read in No Time, and 45 titles in total.
About the author: Born in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, Ham Young-yeon writes children's stories and has received the Gyemong Children's Literature Award. Her works include The Return of the Dokdo King, The Ham Young-yeon Story Collection, Our Neighborhood's Mrs. Marilee, Star Audition Toward a Dream, Following the Myeongsimbogam, Am I Really a Blockhead?, I Need My Mom!, Grandma's Chamber Pot, So What If You're Class President?, Mother Snail, The Stuttering Goblin's Words, and If Only I Could Open My Eyes for Just One Day. With a deep interest in history, she wrote The Return of the Dokdo King in response to Japan's historical distortions regarding Dokdo, and this book also aims to reveal the truth behind China's Northeast Project, which falsely claims Goguryeo history as its own. She studied film scenario writing in graduate school at Chugye University for the Arts and currently teaches at a university.
