Description ♡ Understanding the Concept of the Universe Children can understand the concept of the “universe” by expanding their sense of space—from home to neighborhood, from neighborhood to country and world, and finally to Earth and the universe. ♡ Learning About the Solar System and the Sun Children will learn that our Earth is part of the solar system within the vast universe, and understand that the eight planets of the solar system revolve around the sun, gaining a clear overview of the solar system. ♡ Learning About the Sun Children will learn the concept of a “star” and learn about the sun, a representative star and the center of our solar system. They'll discover that the sun is a hot, glowing ball of gas, understand what the sun means to us, and learn how to stay safe around it. ♡ Learning About the Planets Children will learn about the eight planets of the solar system, including Earth. They'll examine the shapes and features of each planet in order of distance from the sun, exploring whether each has land and clouds like Earth or is made of gas, how its size compares to Earth's, and how long it takes to orbit the sun. Kids can also trace the names of the planets and attach planet stickers, building finger strength while reinforcing their memory of each planet. ♡ Learning More About the Universe Children will explore the moon, which is closely tied to Earth, and take a deeper look at black holes to further their understanding of the universe.
