While sneaking a peek into Mr. Woof's cake shop, the kitties accidentally step on a colony of ants. Furious, the ants blast them with a shrinking ray, reducing the kitties to the size of ants themselves! Will they be able to overcome this crisis and return safely to their normal size? "These greedy kitties charge straight toward whatever looks delicious, without a thought for the consequences! I can't wait to see what they get up to next. This picture book feels like a clear, sunny Saturday." — Baek Heena, picture book author "Full of adorable humor. In this picture book, young readers get to fully indulge in the desire to say, 'Let's do it again, all of it, all the way to the end!'" — Kim Ji-eun, children's literature critic The troublemaking kitties have shrunk down to the size of ants! What on earth happened to them? Today, the mischievous kitties are peeking into Mr. Woof's cake shop. Sweet, fluffy cakes! Watching the freshly baked treats come out of the oven makes their mouths water. As they try to get a closer look at Mr. Woof making his cakes, they accidentally step on a passing colony of ants. Enraged, the ants zap the kitties with a shrinking ray, reducing them to ant-size. But instead of panicking, the kitties are delighted — now they can eat all the cake they want without Mr. Woof noticing! They happily sample cake after cake, but once their bellies are full, they realize being so tiny comes with a big problem: they can't even pour themselves a glass of water anymore. A water bottle they once lifted with one paw now looks like a towering building. The kitties decide to ask the ants to change them back to their original size. But to catch a tiger, you have to go into the tiger's den! Venturing into the anthill, will the kitties manage to make it back to their normal selves safely? Mischief with all their might, apologies with all their heart! A picture book kids and grown-ups will want to read again and again — the "Meow Meow Cats" series Author Noriko Kudo's "Meow Meow Cats" series masterfully blends the personalities of cats and children in its charming text and illustrations, earning love from readers of all ages. A bestseller with over 2 million copies sold across the series in Japan, it has also won devoted fans throughout Asia, including in Korea and Taiwan. The kitties — who simply must do what they want to do, can't resist their curiosity, and absolutely have to eat what looks delicious — are just like children. Even knowing they'll get in trouble if caught, they can't help but leap first and think later, chasing that thrilling rush of getting into mischief. They may be unruly little troublemakers, but deep down, they know when they've done wrong. Once again, the kitties find themselves kneeling in a row before Mr. Woof, whose cake shop has been thrown into chaos and left unable to do business because of them. Sneaking into someone else's shop was bad enough, but eating all the cake meant for customers is enough to make anyone furious. Still, seeing the kitties admit their mistake and truly feel sorry softens Mr. Woof's heart once again. Without complaint, the kitties work hard at whatever tasks Mr. Woof gives them — after all, if you make a mistake, you have to make up for it. Every time, they promise not to cause any more trouble... but it seems their curiosity and appetite are simply too much for even the kitties to control. With their eyes half-closed and mischief always on their minds, we can't wait to see what enormous trouble these kitties get into next!
