Description Baby fox Naku always gazes enviously at his grandfather's wonderful earth-colored walking stick. One day, wanting to walk with the stick for just a moment, he sneaks it out without his grandfather knowing. But the stick is so long that it just drags along the ground. When he shows it to Pepe the rabbit while out walking, it transforms into a carrying pole for gathering mugwort. When he meets some ants, it turns into a bridge to help his friends cross the river. But while spinning the stick around and around, he accidentally drops it into the river and loses it. Feeling discouraged, Naku trudges along the riverbank and stumbles upon the walking stick—now transformed into a stick holding Mr. Bear's honey buns. Children love toys. Author Asae Sutou graduated from Ochanomizu University for Women, worked in children's programming production, and then began working as a picture book author. Her picture books include 'Itsumon-san's Birthday.' She currently lives in Tokyo, Japan. Illustrator Nahoko Anbiru was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1967 and graduated from the Design Department of Tokyo Zokei University. She designs and creates custom-made metal products while also working on picture books. Her picture books include 'What Did You Eat?' She currently lives in Tokyo. Translator Lee Young-jun was born in Busan and graduated from Busan Normal School and the Law School of Busan National University. He made his literary debut after winning the Work Award and Directing Award at the Gaecheon Arts Festival for 'A New Land in the Zoo,' and served as president of the Korean Children's Literature Association. He currently serves as president of the Korean Literature Education Research Society and the Book Nara Reading Club.
