Description
A picture book that helps infants and toddlers who have difficulty expressing themselves communicate.
This is a picture book that raises children to think and then speak, “Don’t say ‘I don’t like it’ or ‘I don’t know,’ but tell me why!” Since infants and toddlers do not know how to communicate appropriately, they just cry at first, but as their ego develops, they express their thoughts with words such as ‘I don’t like it’ and ‘I don’t know’. The main character, the baby monkey, always answers ‘no’ or ‘I don’t know’ to questions from her mother and father.
However, he falls under the witch's spell, and as his mom and dad try to break the spell, he realizes how frustrating and angry his language habits make the other person and tries to change them. This book is a picture book for children who are beginning to speak and express their thoughts verbally. It will greatly help your child naturally realize incorrect language habits and learn appropriate expressions while reading the book.

Author introduction
Author: Lee Chan-gyu
Currently a professor of Korean language and literature at Chung-Ang University and a language communication expert. He has been mainly interested in uncovering the meaning of language, studying linguistic communication, and teaching linguistic communication. Among them, we thought it was especially important to develop the ability to communicate smoothly with others from a young age, so we planned the 'Baby Communication' series, a language communication education book for young children. The first book in the 'Baby Communication' series, 'Speak, Don't Cry', is a book that points out problems with children's language expression and teaches them how to deal with each situation. By featuring a baby bear who starts crying every now and then, it teaches children who whine or throw tantrums to get what they want how to express their thoughts clearly in words. The second book in this series, 『Tell me why』, is a book that shows how frustrating the words 'I don't like' and 'I don't know', which are the words most frequently used by children, are to the other person, and emphasizes the importance of expressing one's thoughts clearly. am. It helps children develop their thinking skills and form smooth interpersonal relationships by practicing speaking after thinking about 'why' rather than making their claims through instinctive and simple emotional expressions.
