A fantastic world that transcends imagination and reality! You can enjoy various images created with consonants in a rhythmic text from a unique perspective. - Lee Ji-won (Picture Book Planner), Yoo Moon-jo (Picture Book Author) This is the award-winning work of the 3rd Biryongso Crunchy Picture Book Award, 'A Spoonful of Clouds ㄱㄴㄷ', published by Biryongso Co., Ltd. The Crunchy Picture Book Award is a new award started by Biryongso in 2021, inspired by the fresh and crisp image of the sound 'crunch' made when taking a big bite of an apple. It aims to discover and spotlight new authors, bringing a fresh breeze to the children's picture book market. A total of 110 works were submitted for the 3rd Crunchy Picture Book Award, and among the 5 finalists selected by picture book planner Lee Ji-won and picture book author Yoo Moon-jo, Hwang Suk-kyung's 'A Spoonful of Clouds ㄱㄴㄷ' was ultimately chosen as the winner. The judges expressed their delight in selecting a work that children would love and feel close to, stating, 'The story of fantasy in dreams and the development of the Korean consonants ㄱㄴㄷ occur simultaneously, allowing for enjoyment from a new perspective.'
