Illustrator: Guido Van Genechten Guido Van Genechten studied drawing, painting, graphic design, and photography at the Hasselt Art Academy in Belgium. After working in the graphic design field for many years, he now devotes himself entirely to creating picture books for children. In 1998, he gained international recognition with Rikki, a picture book starring an adorable rabbit with long floppy ears, which won the International Illustrator Award. He also received the Hasselt Illustration Award for another Rikki picture book, My Ears Don't Match, establishing his reputation widely across Europe. In Korea, many of his works have been introduced, including the Rikki series, the Baby Fish Hayang series, Guess Who?, In the Middle of the Night, My Red Boots, Does Mommy Love Me Too?, We're Friends, and That's My Hat.
