Leo, Falling in Love with Picture Books "Wow, there are so many picture books!" It was a warm and lazy spring day. Leo, having groomed his beautiful fur, was strolling through the spring valley when he came across the Wind Forest Library. The children peeking at the square objects while giggling looked so much fun that Leo decided to go inside the library that night. From that day, Leo's nights were filled with picture books, enchanted by the colorful and vibrant illustrations. Through snowstorms, across endless bridges, all the way to the edge of the universe! "Hey, everyone, get on our train!" Inside the picture books was a mysterious and amazing world. Leo took a train journey, played the trumpet to lead a swarm of mice, and even explored the underwater world, visiting places where monsters lived. He flew through the sky on a bread plate and warmly hugged a girl he met in the falling snow. One day, while playing joyfully and losing track of time, a special friend came to visit Leo. "Let's meet at the library during the day! - From a library friend" The author, Choi Ji-hye, is the director of the 'Wind Forest Picture Book Library' located in Spring Valley, Ganghwa Island. Her connection with Leo began one night seven years ago when a cat wandering around the garden let out a brave "Meow!" sound, and she was so captivated by it that she started feeding him. Thus, Leo became the cat that visits the library every day. Leo, who resembles the king of the jungle, is curious, brave, and a bit haughty. During the day, he interacts freely with the children visiting the library, and at night, he comes back to the library with his cat friends. They want to enjoy picture books together! With the hope that more children will feel and know the joy and emotion of picture books, and to share the joy that can be felt in the library, Choi Ji-hye wrote the book "The Library Cat." Warm-hearted Illustrations The warm illustrations by Kim So-ra captivate readers' eyes, infusing the story with life and warmth through her unique sensitivity. Each illustration is filled with the author's love for cats and her affection for picture books. In the scenes where Leo plays joyfully with friends in the world of picture books, the author's own cat makes an appearance too! Shall we embark on a journey into the limitless world of picture books, following the exciting text and warm illustrations in "The Library Cat"?
