Description
Part of the Applebee Picture Book series. This is the sequel to "If You Pick Your Nose," a book that used wonderfully wild and imaginative ideas to gently help children break bad habits. This new book tackles everyday bad habits kids struggle with—like skipping breakfast, not cleaning up their toys, hitting friends, and staying up too late—through fun, engaging stories.
The illustrations surprise and delight children with imaginative, larger-than-life scenarios, while each 'bad habit' is met with a funny remedy. The short, warm text reassures children with a gentle "I might do that too" tone, comforting them just as the previous book did. The richly textured, three-dimensional artwork, curiosity-sparking format, and rhythmic short text have all been upgraded from the previous title, making this an even more enjoyable read that helps children effectively overcome bad habits.
At the back of the book, parents will find detailed suggestions for talking and playing with their child before, during, and after reading—creating wonderful opportunities to discuss bad habits, good habits, and their child's own thoughts and feelings together.

The long-awaited sequel to If You Pick Your Nose—the picture book that used wonderfully wild and imaginative ideas to gently correct children's bad habits! If You Don't Poop is a picture book that delivers deliciously spooky yet comical thrills through its wonderfully creative illustrations. A child who won't eat breakfast shrinks into a tiny bean-sized figure on a dinner plate, while a child who stays up too late is visited by a spooky ghost. But just when things get scary, a funny and clever remedy appears, followed by comforting words like "I might do that too," wrapping the child's feelings in warmth. As children read along with the pictures, they naturally come to recognize their own bad habits and learn how to change them—all while having a great time.
The Sequel to the Beloved If You Pick Your Nose That Captivated Countless Children
Following the huge success of If You Pick Your Nose—a picture book adored by children and parents alike for its wonderfully wild ideas for correcting bad habits—comes its sequel, If You Don't Poop.
While If You Pick Your Nose focused on bad habits related to children's bodies, like thumb-sucking, poking their belly buttons, and picking their noses, If You Don't Poop turns its attention to everyday life habits, including skipping breakfast, not tidying up, hitting friends, and staying up too late.
The illustrations surprise and delight with their imaginative scope, while each bad habit is met with a fun and clever remedy, paired with gentle, reassuring text that says, "I might do that too"—comforting children just as the first book did. The richly textured, three-dimensional artwork, curiosity-sparking layout, and rhythmic short text have all been upgraded from the previous book, making reading even more enjoyable while helping kids effectively break bad habits.
At the end of the book, parents will also find detailed guidance on how to talk and play with their child before, during, and after reading—offering a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to discuss bad habits, good habits, and their own thoughts and feelings together.
