Think and Draw Any Dream Freely! Winner of the 2008 Polish Publishers' Award, "Any Dream Is Fine" is a picture book that blends poetic humor with free-flowing imagination, inviting readers of all ages—children and adults alike—to think about the meaning of "dreams." This book has the power to inspire readers to imagine anything and create dreams uniquely their own. By looking at dreams from many different perspectives, it shows us that dreams—each with their own distinct personality and voice—are exactly what make this world beautiful. The book's original illustrations, created using colored pencils, pens, and paints, are a standout feature: rather than being confined to the text, they expand into their own stories filled with layered meaning. There's a family of storks—the mother stork dreams of finally getting a long, relaxing rest. The family of eels, who always live in water, dreams of climbing Mount Everest. A little fire wishes to play with firefighters, a mayfly wishes for just one more day to live, and a shark wishes to grow long hair. And when you hear the breathless hummingbird's dream of wanting two more wings as it flutters along, you can't help but smile. ☆ Awards - Winner of the 2008 Poland Most Beautiful Picture Book of the Year Award
