The words and sentences in the child's part repeat, so eventually she read them with ease. The content is simple, but the repeated words make it perfect for reading practice. At first my child stumbled over the letters, but eventually could read whole words at once. The repetition increases toward the end, so it clearly becomes more fun for kids. It's wonderful to watch my child feel a sense of accomplishment reading familiar letters, words, and sentences, gaining confidence along the way. There are separate parts for mom to read and for the child to read, making it great for interaction. It's good for reading together as well as reading alone.
