Description: Geo-Geo is the strongest lion of all. But because everyone scurries away and hides whenever they see him, Geo-Geo has no fun at all. One day, Geo-Geo meets a sad white bird who has lost all six of her eggs. Geo-Geo offers to let her lay her eggs on top of his own head. And so, the white bird builds her nest right on Geo-Geo's head and lays her eggs inside. From then on, Geo-Geo carries the nest wherever he goes—taking shelter under a big tree when it rains. Leopards dare not come near, and snakes cannot steal the eggs, because they are safe atop Geo-Geo's head. This is a book selected by the Hanuri Reading Culture Movement. Geo-Geo feels less like a fearsome lion and more like a gentle, warm-hearted grandfather—both mighty and endlessly kind. The sight of Geo-Geo devoting himself so tenderly to the baby birds is deeply moving. In the final scene, seven adorable baby birds are gently tugging at the mane of Geo-Geo, whose eyes have grown too weak to see well anymore. Isn't this exactly what we should call 'love'?
