But tragedy repeats itself even aboard the ship: a crew member turned zombie has killed most of the others, and only Mukho—the man Okju loves—remains, alive in body though transformed into a zombie. Okju and Mukho grew up together amid domestic violence, relying on each other to survive amid ruin from an early age.
