Book Introduction: I sometimes help my mother at the restaurant, and whenever I earn money, I put half of it into a glass jar. My mother and grandmother do the same, putting any spare coins into the jar too. We're saving up to buy a chair for my mother to rest in after a long day's work. Ever since a fire destroyed all our furniture in our old home, our neighbors kindly gave us household items, but we still didn't have a chair. Finally, the day the jar is full, my mother and I go out and buy a wonderful, soft new chair.
