Description: In search of the hidden treasure, the 'Magic Golden Bowl,' Jipangi and Assistant Lee Eun-ju set off for Baghdad, Iraq. Jipangi, who has a deep interest in archaeology and history thanks to his uncle's influence, and Assistant Lee Eun-ju, who works for a world-renowned archaeologist but is in the final stages of 'princess syndrome,' bicker constantly while gradually closing in on the treasure. Of course, no adventure is complete without a villain. Right on cue, the relic dealer Dr. Bong appears, pretending to help Jipangi's team while secretly plotting to smuggle away the artifacts. He's clean-cut and highly knowledgeable about archaeology, but Dr. Bong has one fatal flaw: he's a hopeless case of 'prince syndrome' combined with an extreme obsession with cleanliness. Readers can enjoy the sun-soaked land of Iraq, where Islamic tradition remains vividly alive today. Known mainly for events like the Saddam Hussein regime, the Gulf War, and the Iraq War, Iraq is often seen as a country scarred by conflict and violence. But this book helps children discover that Iraq is actually a wonderful country rich in ancient culture, proud history, and dazzling relics. This educational comic lets kids learn and have fun at the same time. It is the first volume in the 'World Exploration Comic History Trivia' series, which explores the cultures and histories of countries around the world. Above all, this book helps children get a clear picture of the history and culture of Iraq—a country unfamiliar to most Korean kids—while enjoying the humor and charm of its lively characters.
