Strange things began happening to the green star, once the most beautiful, shining star in the universe. Those who claimed to be its rightful owners cut down trees without end to build towering cloud towers, endlessly ate and consumed, and filled the oceans with trash. As the cloud tower people built their towers and created waste, the animals began falling ill one by one. Whales, crocodiles, tigers, birds, bears, turtles — every animal living in the sea, on land, and in the sky grew sicker and sicker. The green star grew hotter and hotter, until not just the animals but the children too could barely breathe. Yet the cloud tower people did not stop. They kept cutting down trees and kept dumping endless waste. Animals disappeared from the Earth one by one, and islands and cities began to sink beneath the water. The once-brilliant green star now flickered faintly, barely holding on to its last breath. Would the green star disappear like this? Would the children and animals meet their end? Our star must be green! One day, those who claimed to own the green star brought it to the brink of crisis. These self-proclaimed owners destroyed the star's forests and produced endless mountains of waste. Because of them, islands and cities sank underwater, and children and animals, gasping for breath, cried out, "Stop, please stop!" — but still they would not stop. Yet the children and animals never gave up. They sang a song about living together, hoping someone would finally listen. Even as the green forests burned red, fish flopped helplessly on dry land, and hunger and pain spread across the green star, the children and animals kept singing. In the end, the cloud towers crumbled, and the song of the children and animals rose to take their place. The ashen sky that had covered the green star slowly began to fade, and patches of blue sky began to peek through once more. Even when there seemed to be no hope left at all, the children and animals never gave up — and together, they saved the green star. Now it's up to us to keep the green star shining bright, so that this most beautiful, radiant star in the universe — where everyone can live happily — never turns gray again.
