What has happened to Marshmallong and Furry Fuzz since we last saw them? The much-anticipated sequel to the hit book Iparapa Nyamu Nyamu has arrived! Author Lee Ji-eun's new work continues the beloved story that captured hearts in 2020, this time set on the mysterious island where Furry Fuzz lives. Readers who wondered, "Where exactly is Furry Fuzz's home?" will finally get to explore it in vivid detail through this spectacular new adventure. Four Marshmallongs Fall Asleep in Furry Fuzz's Mouth and Wake Up on a Mysterious Island Across the Sea At the end of Iparapa Nyamu Nyamu, Furry Fuzz departs as the Marshmallongs wave goodbye. This new story picks up right where that one left off. Carrying a toothbrush given to him as a gift, Furry Fuzz swims across the vast ocean and arrives at a mysterious, dangerous-looking island. Unlike Marshmallow Island, this place feels eerily different — wild, vibrant plants growing from dry earth, craters dotting the landscape, and not a soul in sight. But Furry Fuzz isn't alone on the island. Four Marshmallongs, who had dozed off while treating Furry Fuzz's teeth, wriggle their way out of his mouth. "Where are we? Is this your home? Can you take us back to ours?" But before they can get an answer, Furry Fuzz suddenly collapses — leaving the four Marshmallongs stranded on this vast, unfamiliar island. A Face-Off with a Terrifying Ten-Legged Creature Over Furry Fuzz's Fallen Body Boom! With a ground-shaking sound, a strange creature covered in bright pink fur appears. Its massive size and sharp fangs send the four tiny Marshmallongs into despair. Making a strange sound — "cheu cheu cheu cheu" — the creature slowly closes in. Remembering the lesson from Iparapa Nyamu Nyamu not to judge by appearances alone, the Marshmallongs try to stay calm. But oh no — the creature is already looming over the unconscious Furry Fuzz! Refusing to back down, the Marshmallongs join forces, stacking up to grow taller, arming themselves with a red stem as a weapon, and standing their ground out of sheer loyalty to protect their sleeping friend. A Touching Twist: The Truth Behind Cheu Cheu Cheu Cheu Startled awake by the commotion outside, Furry Fuzz finally opens his eyes just as the exhausted Marshmallongs catch their breath. At last, Furry Fuzz comes face to face with the mysterious creature. How will their encounter unfold? What does "cheu cheu cheu cheu" really mean — and who, or what, is this creature? Cheu Cheu Cheu Cheu holds a heartwarming twist all its own, distinct from Iparapa Nyamu Nyamu. Readers who follow the story from the Marshmallongs' point of view will discover a whole new layer of charm when they revisit the beginning after learning the surprising truth at the end. The tiny, squishy Marshmallongs who are always mistaken for snacks; the slow-witted but endearingly cheerful Furry Fuzz; and this book's secret new character, Cheu Cheu Cheu Cheu — together, they bring to life an exciting story rendered in bolder, more vibrant illustrations than ever before. The richly imagined fantasy world that author Lee Ji-eun has been building since Iparapa Nyamu Nyamu becomes even more vivid and three-dimensional in this new installment. This summer, join these wonderful friends on an unforgettable adventure to Cheu Cheu Cheu Cheu Island.
